Open Categories and Prize Money – Austin 10/20 Championship

The Austin 10/20 Championship has generous guaranteed prize money for Elite runners and is the largest prize money purse in Austin!

The top five overall male and females will receive:

  • 1st Place – $1,000
  • 2nd Place – $600
  • 3rd Place – $400
  • 4th Place – $200
  • 5th Place – $100

Awesome Local Prize Money!

The Austin 10/20 celebrates local talent by offering an exclusive prize money purse for local residents. New this year, Williamson County residents will also be eligible for the local prize money in addition to Travis County residents. The top three male and female qualifying finishers will receive:

  • 1st Place – $300
  • 2nd Place – $200
  • 3rd Place – $100

Masters Division – 40 and up

  • 1st Place male and female – $300
  • 2nd Place male and female – $200
  • 3rd Place male and female – $100

Push Rim Wheelchair

  • 1st Place male and female – $300
  • 2nd Place male and female – $200
  • 3rd Place male and female – $100

Hand cranks and bicycle type devices are not permitted. Qualifying athletes with disabilities are allowed as exceptions.

Basic Rules

Winners must be officially registered and wearing a bib number to be eligible for awards and prize money.

Proof of residency in Travis County or Williamson County is required to claim local prize money.

Age group and masters awards are based on CHIP TIME. Open categories and course records are based on GUN TIME.

You must be at least twelve years old to compete in the Austin 10/20.

Documented qualifying times are required to line up in the Elite (very first) starting corral.  Submit proof of finishing time in a ten mile or half marathon event over the past 12 months to info@austin1020.com.  Maximum times considered in the ten mile distance are:  Men – 55 minutes, Women – 60 minutes.  Maximum times considered in the half marathon distance are: Men – 1:10, Women – 1:20. Exceptions will be made at Race Director’s discretion. Submit documentation to info@austin1020.com.
